Truffles are a fungus and this is a living organism that continues to grow. Because this product contains live truffles, the kit only has a shelf life of 8 to 10 months (in a dark place at room temperature). The truffles will continue to grow until they are harvested. During this time you simply have to keep the lid of the inner box closed. Freshly harvested truffles have maximum potency. These kits have already gone through an 8-12 month growing period. At 8 months, the truffle is mature, but can continue to grow for 6 more months, and even become stronger due to the evaporation process.

INSTRUCTIONS for the Atlantis Magic Truffles Grow Kit
1. Remove the lid from the transparent box and keep it open for at least three days. In this period of time the truffles will grow a little more because they suddenly get a high amount of O2 (oxygen). After these days the growth process finally stops. In technical terms we call this “puffing the truffle”. 2. After three days, put the contents of the inner container in a strainer. 3. Use plain tap water to remove the substrate. Rinse with cold water until only truffles remain and they are free of substrate. 4. You can keep them in the refrigerator for at least a week 5. At your choice you can replant them in coconut soil and in a few weeks mushrooms will appear. Now you have the freshest and most powerful magic truffles!
