Magic truffle grow kits have been developed to offer the best and most convenient experience. These kits hold up well under very extreme circumstances, and are harvested within a few days to three months. With our grow kits, you’ll always get the freshest, highest-quality truffles. Truffles are a fungus, a living organism that continues to grow.
Because this product contains live truffles, the kit only has a shelf life of 8 to 10 months (in a dark place at room temperature). The truffles will continue to grow until they are harvested.
During this time, simply keep the lid of the inner box closed. Freshly harvested truffles are at their maximum potency.
These kits have already undergone a growth period of 8 to 12 months. At 8 months, the truffle is mature, but it can continue to grow for another 6 months, even becoming stronger due to the evaporation process.
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Remove the lid from the transparent container and keep it open for at least three days. During this time, the truffles will grow slightly more because they suddenly receive a high amount of O2 (oxygen). After these days, the growth process finally stops. In technical terms, this is called “inflating the truffle.”
2. After three days, place the contents of the inner container in a colander.
3. Use running tap water to remove the substrate. Rinse with cold water until only truffles remain and are free of substrate.
4. You can store them in the refrigerator for up to a week.
5. If you wish, you can replant them in cocoa soil, and mushrooms will appear in a few weeks.
